Raised In Christianity: The SCJ Worshippers And Believers
Shincheonji is known for its many front groups, such as Shincheonji, New Heaven New Earth, Church of Jesus, and Temple of the Tabernacle. Don’t get confused about the name of this religious movement, it is sometimes spelled “Shinchonji”. The different ways of being misspelled are due to the terms in English and Korean words used, still, the group has one belief.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus means NHNE or New Heaven New Earth. There are other names related to this religious movement, such as:

When raised in a Christianity family and as a youth leader at a church, Shincheonji opened the eyes of the believers about the Holy Scripture. Worshipping one God and believing the preaching of pastor Lee brings them to heaven at the final judgment. Although SCJ was embroiled with the COVID-19 outbreak, pastor Lee was proven not guilty of breaking the COVID control law.
NHNE remained strong!
The twisting Scripture of the sect has inspired several anti-Shincheonji groups. Some are run by other organizations and some others by church groups. Opposing the religious movement was done using the internet and social media, discouraging the people to join it. A lot of Christian churches in SK actively work in keeping their members being dragged into NHNE. Still, these members are gradually transferring and renewing their beliefs to this religious group. Due to the good news and how they followed the words of God written in the Bible, you will realize that they are the right path.
Shincheonji is very active in volunteer efforts and culture. The church is also active in several social-action groups which disguise their relationship to the teachings of NHNE. One of the most popular events that they hold is the Olympics-style athletics festival.
Is the religious movement a cult?
Did you know that the word cult is difficult to define and very controversial? The religious movement is very fair, considering that it is large and very successful. Lee Man-Hee, a charismatic leader, a single man who claims with a special ability to interpret the Bible. The leader confidently introduced himself as immortal. Lee’s authority implies that salvation requires faith in him. Lee’s teachings about the church, in a way that teaches according to the Bible, which is initially composed of metaphors. The pastor is alone and has the spiritual gift to interpret the Bible correctly.
When speaking of cults, it typically practices indoctrination than education. The religious group offers free Bible classes, which are slanted towards their theology. But, SJC counter-evidence to test the members’ faith. With this, they may ignore facts, evidence, and reasons that contradict Lee’s teaching. The disciples of NHNE are discouraged to be active on the internet and social media as it only contains damning challenges to their faith.
As mentioned in Rev. 7:4, there are 144, 000 members of the religious groups who will go to heaven and get forgiveness, Shincheonji holds these written words in the Holy Scripture.
